Ah, how I love when the studio smells like a brand new baby! Little Jackson, at just 5 days old, rocked it out today! A sleepy little guy who loved to cuddle, loved his pacifier, and just shone in front of the camera! Six teeny pounds of pure perfection! Welcome to the world, little Jackson!
Typically when a client whines, you won’t find me giggling, but when that whiny client is a furry, four-legged creature who just can’t figure out what they’re doing stuck in a photo studio, a few giggles here and there are okay. :) I had so much fun with this sweet couple and their four-legged friends, even if those four-legged friends weren’t so sure about me.

No matter how long my days are, hanging out with sweet babies always makes the time fly! Addison more than qualifies as a sweet baby. She came into the studio going on no nap and a long day at daycare, but you’d never know it! She kept me smiling all evening with her sweet giggles and baby noises. If there ever were a good way to end a long day, this was it! Thanks, Addison! Can’t wait to hear about your new baby cousin! Good luck, future cousin’s mommy!
This sweet girl came into the studio as sad as sad could be, and who could really blame her? When you want to be cuddled by mom and have to settle instead for a car seat, life is just rough! :) But after just a little snuggle time with Mom, she dried her eyes and performed beautifully for the camera. Ooh, but I felt so terribly guilty for making her get back in that car seat when it was all over! :) Elizabeth, I’ll see you and those sweet “E” sisters of your soon!
If only we could bottle the energy of a 2-year-old boy! Javi was full of energy today, the kind that just makes you wish you were that young again! Everything was an exciting discovery for him, and the sparkle in his eyes when he discovered something new was just priceless! And little Cristian? His chunky monkey thighs and sweet brown eyes won me over in an instant! Thanks, boys, for filling my morning with your energy and smiles!
Two for two! Two shoots, two birthdays, two amazing kids! I’ve had so much fun watching sweet Vivi grow and this shoot will be one I’ll always remember as one of my favorites! I could not have had more fun with Vivi and her mom, and even the best photos I got don’t do justice to the sweetness that is Viviana! Vivi, I will so miss seeing your gorgeous eyes, but I know your family will be so happy to have you close by! Happy 1st birthday, sweet girl!
It was a day for sweet kids, happy birthdays, and great photo shoots! Little Jett started it off with his amazing brown eyes and gorgeous curls that keep getting longer and lighter every time I see him. It shouldn’t be possible for a kid who started out as cute as he did to just keep getting cuter, but somehow, Jett does! He’s adorable, so much fun to follow around, and no doubt going to give his big brothers and sister a run for their money! Happy 1st birthday, Jett! Between the adorable newborn photos we got of her six months ago and the more recent pictures I’ve seen of her on Facebook, I knew I was in for a treat long before Ms. Rowan showed up for her photo shoot today! She did not disappoint! She’s a petite little thing full of sweet personality, with eyes even more striking in person than they could ever possibly be in a photo! Rowan, I’m honored you made the trek to come see me again. You were the perfect ending to an awesome week! P.S. Have a super-cool weekend in the Austin area!
This family has quickly worked their way into becoming one of my very favorite families to photograph. They’re beautiful, sweet, and these boys just melt my heart! The weather was just right for a morning shoot outdoors, and we got so many great shots! Christian and Alex, you boys made my day!
Pure sweetness in the form of a six-month-old little girl! Shoots just don’t get easier than this! Reece oozed sweetness and personality, and her beautiful blue eyes and bright red hair just begged for photo after photo! I was happy to oblige. :) Reece, come back and see me ANYTIME!
