With Love From. . .

Six weeks later, and you people are still making me smile!  Not that it should surprise me.  For the past five years, even in those moments when I knew I’d get the best out of you, you always gave me more!  Thanks for that, friends!  Have a happy week!  I know I will!

With Love From. . .

So many of the sweet e-mails and Facebook posts I’ve gotten from you people have made me smile.  Some have made me cry.  And occasionally, I even get to laugh.  A lot. :)

Some backstory on this “With Love From” letter.  Ryan’s mom happens to be a running buddy of mine.  We’ve spent MANY an early morning jogging the streets of Cedar Park discussing just about everything.  She’s heard about all the things I love about my job, and occasionally, she may have even heard about the things I haven’t loved quite so much. :)   So when I got this e-mail from her as we were scheduling a shoot for her newborn baby boy, I just had to laugh.  A lot.  :)

So without further ado, “With Love From:” Ryan’s Mom.

Feeling the love, my friends!  Thanks for that!

With Love From:”  Noah, Vivian & Lilia’s Mom.

A Little Thankful? A Little Nothing!

My mom always taught me that it’s polite to send thank you notes when somebody has given me a gift.  So for the SO MANY who have given me SO MUCH over the past few years – friendship, love, AND a job - a few thank you notes were definitely in order.  And while words could never accurately convey the warmth that fills my heart, it’s important for ME to know that YOU know how much you’re loved and appreciated!  Thanks, friends, for blessing me in more ways than I ever could have hoped for or deserved!  You are loved!  (And to the struggling U.S. Postal Service, you’re welcome. :) )

With Love From. . .

With Love From:”  Caden & Colton’s Mom.  (Thanks, friends, for all the love!)

With Love From. . .

Over the past several weeks, I have received some of the sweetest e-mails EVER – some from clients, some from grandparents, some from friends.  And some of those e-mails are just too good not to share!  Which is why I humbly introduce ”With Love From” – my little virtual scrapbook of the photos and people who have made the last five years of my life the best five years they could possibly be!

So without further ado, “With Love From:” Olivia’s Grandma.

So NOT The End!

While yesterday was technically my last day for photo shoots, you haven’t seen the last of me – whether you like it or not. :)   The next week or so on the blog will be quiet as I finish up Favorites pages, galleries, and holiday orders, but there are enough things brewing over here to ensure that we stay in touch long after things calm down over here - Photoshop classes, Create classes, and even some more client photos as I finish up some First Year Collections.  In addition, there are some e-mails from clients, grandparents, and friends that I’m dying to share with you - not at all as a way of bragging on me, but as a way of bragging on the blessings I’ve received because of YOU!  So keep the blog bookmarked, keep the visits coming, and I promise to do my best to keep you entertained.  I’ve still got lots to say. :)   Not the least of which is “THANK YOU!”  More to come! :)

. . . introducing Ryan

Because my calendar has always filled up pretty far in advance, I get to be excited about shoots long before they happen.  This particular shoot takes the cake.  I’ve been excited about doing it for what seems like forever – since one pre-dawn morning early this year when a sweet running buddy of mine broke the news that she was going to be a mommy.  Every Thursday since then, I’ve counted down the weeks until this sweet boy would be in my studio.  When he made his debut on the first of October, I started planning all the great shots we were about to do.  And then Mom and Dad got some news about sweet Ryan’s teeny tiny heart that broke their hearts in two.  (Mine was broken, too.)  But after little Ryan met the right docs, a plan was put in place, and now a sweet boy has begun the journey to becoming the strong, healthy kid he was meant to be!  And guess what?  I’m going to adore him all along the way!   After all, he is an October baby, and I happen to know those are the BEST! :)
